During 2012 there are 53 (happy) Mondays: each Monday I aim to publish a short article or interview about an Italian group or artist who you may not know about, accompanied by links to their website, social media sites, and music.
The aim of the project is to showcase some of the rich talent that can be found here - mainly to the English speaking world.
I did a quick count yesterday of the groups and artists I have seen perform here in Italy and know personally (some I know better than others, of course) and I arrived at 43 without even thinking about it. I am confident that by the end of next year we will arrive at 53 without breaking sweat.
The first "edition" of "53" will be published on Monday 2nd January 2012. Have a good Christmas and New Year!
